Male partner characteristics providing support for HPV vaccination of married women

Objective: To evaluate the characteristics of men who support their partners in getting HPV vaccine. Material And Methods: All married women (< 26 years) were admitted to gynecology outpatient clinic and husbands evaluated for participation study. Patients’ all male recorded. participants answered a survey form including ten statements about vaccination. Male divided into two groups according or lack vaccination wife. Results: In total, 92 supported 144 opposed (support rate: 39%). The mean marriage age, education status monthly income significantly higher favor wives. rate those stated they religious was anti-vaccine group. Safety concerns vaccine (27.8%), cost (26.4%) belief effectiveness most common reasons opposing Multivariate regression analysis revealed age ≥25 years, level high school university, not self-identification as increased rate. Conclusion: present study found that with educational level, income, score on more supportive spouses contrast, identified themselves had less wife being vaccinated.
